How long do our pickles last?
Share
The question we get asked the most is: “How long do your products last once opened?”
Short answer: at least 3 months in the fridge.
That’s often longer than supermarket brands - this is why: most of those are pasteurised, which kills off the beneficial bacteria (and shortens the shelf life once opened). Ours are raw, unpasteurised, and still fizzing with live cultures. Those helpful microbes help preserve the product naturally by outcompeting the ones that cause spoilage.
Fermentation is its own kind of preservation. Keep our products sealed and chilled, use clean utensils, and they will stay tangy, fresh, and might even develop more flavour and complexity over time.
